Medea has been singing on stage for more than half her life. Initially her focus was country music, a natural fit considering her Nashville roots. Medea was raised in Nashville, TN and in Texas.
By age thirteen she had begun to unlock what has become a truly unique sound. Soulful and powerful, her vocal strengths are realized in a diverse musical terrain. With her style, based on country and root-blues, she draws liberally from jazz, classical and rock.
Medea has a wild and loyal fan base that continues to grow with her exposure. She has performed and/or recorded with Shelley Carroll (Duke Ellington Orchestra), Jeffrey Barnes (Brave Combo), Groove Academy (R&B, disco, and pop band), and Bricks in the Wall (Pink Floyd tribute band). Her performances range from sweet to sweaty while singing either lead or harmony. Her voice carries a message that anyone could groove to.
