Gary is a native Texan, originally from Beaumont. Gary initially started playing piano at a very early age and stuck with it through high school and college. In college, he studied woodwinds at the University of North Texas. While there and well before, Gary played in several bands, rock and jazz included. Gary is a versatile player, equally comfortable at the bass, piano, sax or flute (sometimes all at the same time). Like the others in the band, Gary appreciates all styles of play and enjoys playing it all. Gary says, "..its all good, as long as we and our audiences are having a good time".
