Trombone
Dutch holds music performance degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Texas Tech University, with additional orchestral training as a fellowship recipient at the Interlochen International Music Camp, Brevard Music Center, American Wind Symphony and Las Vegas Music Festival. His principal teachers/mentors have been Vernon Forbes, Don Lucas, Craig Fuller, Tim Howe and Fred "Moe" Snyder.
Dutch has been a free-lance teacher and performer for over 15 years. He has taught beginners through university level students, and performed with a variety of ensembles in both commercial and classical idioms. He is currently Low Brass Instructor at Tarleton State University, Trombone Instructor at Weatherford College, and (private) Trombone Instructor for the Aledo Independent School District.
Dutch resides in Weatherford, Texas with his wife Leslie and daughter Allison.
